Project description
The project draws from the visual language of Mumbai’s taxis with the hand-painted decals, informal lettering, and bold graphic rhythms found across the city. Translating these everyday urban markers into a contemporary retail context, the work explored how vernacular typography and pattern could scale into a cohesive identity system. The outcome included a custom logo, animated patterns, and expressive lettering designed for the Apple Store at BKC, bridging street-level visual culture with a refined, spatially driven brand experience.
